Pumpkin Patch

Pumpkin Patch Time!
Grandma Turtle (Sandra), my mother came down to visit us and we went to Faulkner Pumpkin Patch with Max, Auntie Tina, Uncle Mark, Grandma Donna and Grampa Duncan, unfortunately Daddy had to work.

The pristine Faulkner Ranch!
I don't look pregnant here!
Look at all the different pumpkins.

I finally had someone to take pictures of us, while I took pictures, mostly of Maya.

Me doing what I LOVE!!

In all these pumpkins a blade of grass goes in her mouth.

Maya was fascinated with all the pumpkins,

It was difficult to get her to look at me and not the pumpkins.

 and excitement!!

Yeah, Gramma Turtle and Maya found some BIG pumpkins.

Maya was standing up next to these big pumpkins.
"Look Mommy....Goats!"

Laying down on the Hayride!!

My favorite model is my beautiful daughter, Maya.

Picture of Maya's first horse ride to follow up soon......

Halloween Spooktacular

The Bautista's attended our first Halloween party....
Baby Spooktacular, hosted by Danielle Ennico, a few weekends ago and had a blast.

Off to a party...in my new "Big Girl" convertible car seat!
Maya's, Nana Kathy found her this cute Kitty Cat costume with a big bottom and tale, that we could not put on her until we got to the party.  I decided to put on a little bit of kitty make-up and she was so adorable.

Loved the cakes, they were both made by hostess Danielle, scrumptious too!  Too bad, I forgot to take a picture of the jello worms and the spaghetti and eyeballs.

I only captured a few of the beautiful babies that attended, I wish I had captured more.

Hollywood Beach Fun

Hollywood Beach is also on Channel Islands in Oxnard.
How lucky are we!
Visiting the beach is a special family outing. Maya likes to bring along her toys:  all animal print accoutrement's and don't forget her teething giraffe, Sophie.  Dad likes Maya to wear her Dodger's hat although they did not do too well this year.

Maya got a new hat to keep the sun out of her eyes,
it's a little big! :)

We decided to check out Ventura Harbor as well.
Maya rode a Dolphin!

Plus there's a pool...gotta put on sunblock before we go out in the sun!  It was so cold, but we both love the water.

Across the harbor is a park for Maya to swing, play on the slide, ride the dolphin and play with my Mommy and Daddy on the seesaw!  I couldn't stop laughing when we put her on the swing...see the video, I know I sound like a crazy mother, but I was so happy to see her so happy.

Kitty Robe

Bathtime can be fun fulled or really trying on a pregnant Mommy.

So not that I can bathe Maya every day, yeah, try bending over for too long to play with your little one or having to squat for minutes at a time.  Whew...that's when the big belly does get in the way.

The fun happens when you have a willing model to play....

let's say dressing up in a baby robe and slippers.

Now how many times do you really get to use a robe on an infant or baby unless it is a candid moment???

I will say we do use the slippers a lot more than I thought we would maybe it's the Ocean air.

2 Years in one Post

Wow so over 2 years have passed....

my only excuse is that since I am not much of a writer, I guess I have been VERY lackadaisical about posting.  But now that I am a stay at home Mama, I am finding the time to be more creative and share my life experience with you.

Yep that's me riding a horse at Windermere, Santa Barbara

Where do I start?

With so much that has happened these past few years......the big ones are:  becoming initiated into MSIA, my Spiritual Community, and then become a Minister as well.   Sorry No pictures here.

But then wait that's not enough I get married a few months later....to my perfect Man, Daniel Bautista at a small ceremony at Prana, the hub of MSIA.http://www.peacelabyrinth.org/

and then on our Honeymoon in Mazatlan, Mexico I find out I am newly pregnant and Maya Rayne Bautista is born on January 1, 2011 after 32 hours of loving labor where I had two Amazing Doula's assisting a Hospital birth.  Again No pictures. :)

3 weeks old

And now I am 20 weeks pregnant again.

WHEW,
did you follow that?

Oh and I forgot to mention that we have now moved from Los Angeles up to Oxnard Beach in the Beautiful and much cooler Ventura county.

Unfortunately I can not get you caught up on all the pictures I just choose a few to share.  But now that I am up and running.  I will be more diligent in posting and sharing our life.   Plus not too freaky about editing my stuff and learning to let go of the "perfectionist" attitude and just allowing it all to be!
